Mercury Rev to play at first Truck America Festival
Oxford-based bash heading across the Atlantic this May
Mercury Rev have been announced as the first act to play the inaugural Truck America festival in New York.
The three-day event takes place at the Full Moon Resort in Big Indian, New York on April 30-May 2. Mercury Rev are due to be joined by a chamber orchestra for their performance.
Truck Festival originally started in Oxford, with the likes of Supergrass, The Lemonheads, Regina Spektor, Battles, Wild Beasts and The Big Pink being involved over the past 13 years.
Organisers are due to announce more acts for both sides of the Atlantic in the near future. See Thisistruck.com for more information.
