MERCURY REV have confirmed details of a UK tour and new single, 'NITE AND FOG'.

The band, who have already sold-out their show at the London Shepherd's Bush Empire (November 1), have confirmed a full UK tour around the show.

The tour calls at: Glasgow Barrowlands (October 5)
Manchester University (7)
Newcastle University (8)
Bristol Anson Rooms (31)
London Shepherd's Bush Empire (November 1-2)
Wolverhampton Wulfrun Hall (4)
Sheffield Leadmill (5)

Tickets for the tour are priced at £11.00 for Manchester, Bristol and Wolverhampton; £10 for Glasgow; £12.50 for Sheffield and £13.50 for London.

Mercury Rev will also release a new single, 'Nite And Fog', on September 24 via V2. The single will feature the four-track demo for 'All Is Dream' album track 'A Drop In Time', plus a new song 'Serpentine', recorded prior to 'Deserter's Songs', in 1996. Other tracks include 'Cool Waves', an outtake from the 'All Is Dream' sessions, and an alternative version of 'Nite And Fog' featuring a boys' choir.
