The metal icons will bring 'Hardwired...To Self Destruct' to the House Of Vans
Metallica have announced their return to the UK with a special, intimate London show at House Of Vans.
The ‘Master Of Puppets’ rock icons will launch their new album ‘Hardwired…To Self Destruct’ by not only meeting fans at HMV in Oxford Street and with a tiny show for fans to raise money for charity – but they’re also teasing another ‘special event’. They also hint that they have more ‘surprises up their sleeves’ for the rest of the year.
“Just two weeks to go until ‘Hardwired…To Self Destruct’ and we’re beyond excited that we’ll be spending the week of release with our friends in Europe and celebrating with you in a big way in London, England on November 17 and 18 with three very unique outings,” say the band on their website.
“Our visit to the UK kicks off on November 17 with a very special event that you can hear all about if you tune into the Radio 1 Rock Show with Daniel P Carter this Sunday, November 6 at 7:00 PM GMT. We’re not making just one stop that day as we’ll also be heading to the HMV store on Oxford Street to hang out with you as the clock strikes midnight and it’s officially Hardwired day. We’ll be shaking hands and signing autographs, so if you live in the UK and have pre-ordered the album at HMV (or maybe you would like to!).”
They added: “November 18 – the release day eight years in the making! And what better way to celebrate than a live show for Fifth Members and winners who register via the House of Vans site at the very intimate and exclusive London House of Vans! All the lucky winners will be asked to make a £20 donation at the door to benefit The Railway Children, who assist children who live alone and at risk on the streets in the UK, India and East Africa.”
“We have a few tricks still up our sleeves for 2016, so keep watching here… there’s more to come!”
