Metallica launch new website Metallica Tickets

They promise fans a preview of new album 'before it's done'

Metallica have launched a new website in anticipation of the release of their new album, due out later this year.

The veteran California rockers' website is called 'Mission Metallica', and promises that fans can "experience the new album before it's done".

The site Missionmetallica.com allows people to sign up for email updates about the new album, and promises further updates in May.

Earlier this year, Metallica announced that they plan to release the follow-up to 2003's 'St Anger' this September. They've been recording the as-yet-untitled record in Los Angeles with producer Rick Rubin, as previously reported.
