Metallica announce super-cheap London O2 Arena show
Tickets cost just £5 for the gig
The band announced the gig on Metallica.com, along with another show at O2 World in Berlin on September 12 - the same day new album 'Death Magnetic' is released.
Tickets for the German gig cost 10€.
A statement from the band explained the reasons for the cheap ticket prices: "Because this is a celebration, tickets prices will be, shall we say, 'retro?' Only ten Euros for Berlin, five pounds in London! And the best part is that all the proceeds from the sale of tickets will be donated to local charities."
The band also stated that tickets, which are limited to two per order, are available to fans registered on the Missionmetallica.com and Metclub.com websites.
Keep checking NME.COM to find out when tickets for the gigs will go on sale.
