Metallica close Reading Festival 2008

Metallers end bash with huge pyrotechnic show

Metallica brought the Reading Festival 2008 to a close tonight (August 24), playing a spectacular headline slot on the Main Stage which featured pyrotechnics, fireworks and new songs.

The band played a hit-packed set including 'Enter Sandman' and 'Master Of Puppets', plus played two new songs, 'Cyanide' and 'The Day That Never Comes', songs destined for the band's next album, 'Death magnetic', set to be released on September 12.

The band ended their set with a frenetic rendition of 'Seek And Destroy' and were accompanied by impressive fireworks and pyrotechnics, bringing Reading Festival 2008 to a dramatic close.
