Metallica announce second leg of North American tour

Rockers continue to support ‘Death Magnetic’

Metallica have announced the second leg of a North American tour in support of their album ‘Death Magnetic’.

The dates kick off September 14 and will run through to December 12 when the tour wraps up in San Jose, CA.

‘Death Magnetic’ debuted at Number One on the Billboard album chart in September 2008 and won 2009 Grammy awards for Best Metal Performance for the track ‘My Apocalypse’ and Best Recording Package.

So far the record has sold nearly 1.7 million copies in the US.
