Metronomy launch free smartphone game 'I'm Aquarius'

Game includes exclusive remix of album track 'I'm Aquarius'

Metronomy have launched a free smartphone game called 'I'm Aquarius', based on their song of the name.

In the game, which is available on iOS and Android devices from Monday (March 24), players control a Metronomy spaceship to help guide frontman Joseph Mount through "a cosmic wilderness" featuring obstacles such as asteroids and exploding mines.

The player with the highest score by May 5 will win an exclusive test pressing of current album 'Love Letters'. The game includes an exclusive remix of 'Love Letters' track I'm Aquarius' by the band. A trailer for the game can be seen below.

Metronomy recently announced that they are to release a 12-inch single for Record Store Day on April 19, featuring an exclusive Soulwax remix of the title track of new album title track 'Love Letters'.

The band are on a UK tour which ends at London Brixton Academy on March 28. They headline Field Day on June 7.
