MGMT have claimed a rare double, topping both NME's Albums and Tracks Of 2008 lists.

The Brooklyn-based duo are at Number One with their debut LP 'Oracular Spectacular', while the song 'Kids' tops the tracks countdown.

The list was voted for by NME's writers and staff and also features the likes of Vampire Weekend, TV On The Radio, Santogold, Kings Of Leon and Foals in the albums top 10.

Meanwhile, MGMT dominate the tracks list, with three songs in the top 10, while the likes of MIA, Mystery Jets and Glasvegas also score highly.

For the top ten NME albums and tracks of 2008 head to the NME Office blog now.

To see the full 50 albums and tracks that have made it into the 2008 list, buy this week's issue of NME, on UK newsstands now.

The issue also features a world exclusive interview with Blur on their comeback, which NME.COM announced earlier this week.
