MGMT to team up with 'Song For Dan Treacy' star for March UK gig

MGMT look set to team up with the Television Personalities for a London gig. The cult post-punk band are fronted by Dan Treacy, who is the subject of new MGMT album track 'Song For Dan Treacy'.

According to 'Texas' Bob Juarez, a member of the veteran London group, they are set to support MGMT at a date in the UK capital this March.

"Television Personalities support our spiritual, musical brothers MGMT in London in March 2010!" he wrote on his Facebook page. "Watch this space!"

Official details of the gig are yet to be confirmed.

MGMT release their new album 'Congratulations', which features 'Song For Dan Treacy', on April 12 in the UK.
