Rapper features in documentary about Liberia

MIA is set to host a documentary about child rights in Liberia.

In 4Real Liberia, the rapper travels to post- war Liberia to see how child rights advocate Kimmie Weeks founder of Youth Action International is attempting to help people rebuild their lives and their country.

In the programme Weeks takes MIA to see the work done by organisation. She also meets Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and throws a bloc party for the neighbourhood children.

Commenting on the situation in the country, MIA says: “I think the future of Liberia is very positive. I see greatness in Liberia.”

The programme is set to air on MTV Canada in March 2008.
