MIA has promised to play a free show for fans who attended her Hard NYC Party festival slot at the weekend, which was cut short.
The singer's headline appearance at the event on Governors Island on Saturday (July 24) was cut short amid fears she would be electrocuted during a thunder storm. MIA also complained about the sound and the stage during her performance.
As a result she has offered fans the chance to see her play again when she returns from her current tour.
"Fuck it! im gonna do a free show in nyc when i get back, tho i dont have powers over rain!," she wrote on her Twitter page, Twitter.com/_m_i_a_. "If u still have the hard ticket u free! xxxo."
She has not yet revealed details of the free show.
