MIA is recording material for a new mixtape with Chris Brown and Swizz Beatz.

According to Cataracs member and producer Niles 'Cyrano' Hollowell-Dhar, the singer has drafted in a number of big names after the commercial failure of her last album '///Y/'.

Hollowell-Dhar told Billboard.com that MIA - real name Maya Arulpragasam - wants the mixtape to be "like an album".

"I think she's really going fucking H.A.M. on this. She's not pulling any punches," the producer said.

Hollowell-Dhar added that he is unsure if the material will be included on MIA's fourth studio album proper.

MIA released a free 18-track mixtape titled 'Vickileekx' last December.

She cited WikiLeaks editor-in-chief Julian Assange as the inspiration for the material, which featured production by Danja, Munchi, Blaqstarr, Diplo, Switch, Rusko, SuguArulpragasm and So Japan.
