MIA has accused Grammy Awards organisers of ripping off her ideas in their recent ceremony.

Rihanna, Sting and Bruno Mars joined forces during the 2013 Grammy Awards to pay tribute to Bob Marley with a colourful performance featuring the late artist's children Ziggy and Damian. MIA claims that the visuals used in the performance were copied from a performance she gave in Australia in January. Taking to Twitter to complain about the situation, she wote "MIA vs the system" and revealed that she is starting to document every example of someone copying or stealing ideas from her in an online "steal log".

Continuing her tweets, MIA wrote: "If you want to see the real thing or get it first, come to a MIA show. My ideas came from my life. My set was based on Tamil Hindu temple. Not Bob Marley. MIA $500 : Grammys $5,000,000."

MIA was nominated for a Grammy in the category of best shortform music video for 'Bad Girls', but lost out to Rihanna's 'We Found Love'. Scroll down to see footage of both the Grammys' Bob Marley tribute and MIA's Australian concert from January.

Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that MIA is working with Kanye West and Jay-Z producer Hit-Boy on her next album. "I just did seven songs on her new album. We just locked in the studio and just vibed and we did seven incredible records," he said recently. "She's just like really creative," Hit-Boy explained. "She's doing exactly what comes to her. That's why we were able to crank out that many songs."
