MIA has revealed that she has a new fashion project with Versace.

According to Women's Wear Daily (WWD), the singer spoke about the project at the Balenciaga show at Paris Fashion Week

She told a reporter: "I have a collaboration with Versace coming out in two weeks" Although she would not reveal any more details, WWD understands that the project is for Donatella Versace's diffusion line Versus, which will invite other designers and artists to interpret the fashion brand.

Last week, MIA has unveiled the artwork for her long-awaited new album 'Matangi' – which you can see above. The new LP is due for release on November 5, and will feature the tracks 'Bad Girls' and 'Come Walk With Me'.

Also last week, the singer launched a scathing attack on the NFL (September 23), in response to their decision to sue her for $1.5 million (£900,000) in a legal dispute that has been underway the past 18 months, following her 2012 half-time performance at the Super Bowl XLVI.

At the half-time show, during which the singer performed alongside Madonna and Nicki Minaj, MIA was seen to give the camera the middle finger midway through 'Give Me All Your Luvin' while mouthing "I don't give a shit". She has now uploaded a video during which she sports an Oakland Raiders top and accuses the NFL of a "massive display of corporation dick-shaking", arguing that there were far more offensive images on show during the performance than that of her middle finger. Watch it below.
