MIA performs 'Come Walk With Me' on US chat show - watch
'Come Walk With Me' is taken from MIA's new album 'Matangi' which came out this Monday (November 4)
'Come Walk With Me' is taken from MIA's fourth studio album 'Matangi', which was released on Monday (November 4). Other tracks on the album include 'YALA', 'Bad Girls' and 'Exodus' featuring The Weeknd.
Meanwhile, it was reported on Wednesday (November 6) that work has begun on the much-delayed documentary about MIA. The film will be the feature-length debut of Steve Loveridge, who has been a collaborator of the musician since they met at St Martins art college in London.
Earlier this year, Loveridge appeared to quit the project after leaking a trailer for the film, which featured glimpses of Kanye West, Diplo and Julian Assange as well as MIA. However, shooting is now said to have begun in London thanks to backing from UK-based non-profit documentary support organisation BRITDOC, which will co-produce the project.
Assange, the controversial founder of WikiLeaks, opened MIA's New York gig last Friday (November 1) with a Skype message from London's Ecuadorian embassy, where he has been living under political asylum for over a year. If Assange steps out of the embassy, he will immediately be extradited to Sweden, where he faces allegations of sexual assault.
