Michael Franti & Spearhead cancel headlining slot at Wanderlust Festival
Common will fill in for the singer, who suffered medical emergency

Michael Franti & Spearhead were forced to cancel their headlining performance at the Wanderlust Festival in Lake Tahoe, California this weekend (July 25) due to a medical emergency.
Franti had to undergo emergency surgery on Thursday to remove his ruptured appendix and is now in recovery.
Rapper Common will replace Franti as Saturday night's headliner. Franti was also scheduled to teach an 800-person yoga class at the festival on Saturday afternoon. The class will go ahead as scheduled, and will be taught by Franti's co-instructor, Shiva Rea.
