Michael Jackson's Neverland in danger of being seized

The pop star's ranch may be forcibly auctioned

Michael Jackson's Neverland Valley Ranch in Santa Barbara, California is in danger of being foreclosed on and sold off at an auction in March if he does not pay nearly $25 million owed on the property.

The pop star has been formally notified of the pending foreclosure, and legal documents have been filed with the Santa Barbara County Recorder's office, according to Fox News.

If Jackson does not pay off the loan by March 19, his 2,800-acre property as well as all the personal belongings and furniture inside the house will likely be auctioned off.

Jackson has reportedly spent very little time at the ranch since he was acquitted on charges of sexually abusing a boy there in June 2005.
