Demand for Michael Jackson gigs crashes ticket website
Fans are faced with long queues
Demand for the gigs meant that fans hoping to get tickets were faced with error messages when logging on to Michaeljackson.com today (March 11).
Some fans who thought they were eligible for today's pre-sale have also been left disappointed due to a faulty ticket codes, reports Music Ally.
Those hoping to apply for tickets today were given a unique access code from O2, but some said their code was not recognised when it came to buying tickets.
"Well my O2 priority password is not valid and neither are two friends of mine who have a password," wrote one. "To say we're annoyed is an understatement! Would love to know who else on O2 has not been able to get their 'unique password' for this event to work!"
Jackson is set to play The O2 throughout the summer. This morning, another date was added to the star's residency, taking the number of gigs the King Of Pop will play to 11 in total.
Tickets for the gigs go on general sale on Friday (March 13) morning at 7am (GMT).
