Dame Elizabeth Taylor has paid tribute to Michael Jackson, who died yesterday (June 25).
Jackson died of heart failure at his home in Los Angeles.
Liz Taylor originally crowned Jackson the ‘king of pop’, and an official release from the star said she was inconsolable, according to TMZ.
"Dame Elizabeth Taylor is too devastated by the passing of her dear friend Michael Jackson to issue a statement at this time," the note said.
Tributes from stars across the world have been pouring in for Jackson, from the likes of Blur, Calvin Harris and Demi Moore.
