Promoter behind Michael Jackson's London residency praises 'talented beyond belief' singer
Company behind O2 Arena shows speaks
The promoters behind Michael Jackson's 50-date London residency have paid tribute to the star.
The singer passed away yesterday (June 25) due to a suspected heart attack.
Randy Phillips from AEG Live issued the following statement this afternoon (June 26):
"Yesterday was a day I will never forget, or want to remember. Michael was both weak and strong, clever and kind, talented beyond belief and equally insecure. He was a doting father, respectful son, loving brother, and caring uncle. He was my friend. I take great solace in the pride and confidence he exhibited during production rehearsals on Wednesday night. That is the memory I will cherish for the rest of my life."
So far there is no news yet what ticket-holders for the cancelled Michael Jackson residency should do to claim a refund.
