The thousands of people who bought tickets to Michael Jackson's London 02 Arena series of concerts will receive full refunds, concert promoter AEG Live announced today (June 26).

AEG said in a statement that it will release full ticket refund information and procedures early next week for all of the deceased pop star's 'This Is It' shows.

The company requested that fans "hold onto their vouchers/proof of purchase."

Meanwhile, the organisation extended its "deepest condolences to Michael Jackson's family and friends during this tragic time".

Jackson was taken to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles yesterday after suffering what is believed to be a cardiac arrest at his home.

A team of doctors tried unsuccessfully to resuscitate him for more than an hour before he was declared dead.

Jackson's autopsy is set to take place in Los Angeles later today (June 26).
