An all-star tribute concert for Michael Jackson is likely to take place, according to concert promoter AEG Live, which booked the late pop star's now-cancelled shows at London's 02 Arena.

The show will likely use sets, choreography and costumes originally created for Jackson's sold-out 'This Is It' comeback gigs, and may feature performances from his family members as well as artists who have been influenced by his work.

"I imagine if we could do it, it would be done as a tribute, with the family, with the brothers performing and some of the sisters, but also the stars who loved Michael and were influenced by him," Randy Phillips, president of AEG Live, told Sky News.

Phillips said that AEG is currently discussing the event with the Jackson family, and added that the concert would likely take place sooner rather than later. "At some point the world needs to see this production," he said.

Meanwhile, AEG has announced refund details for those who bought tickets to Jackson's cancelled shows, as previously reported.
