Activists oppose turning Michael Jackson's home into tourist spot
Neighbours say 'Never!' to Neverland Ranch development
According to local activist Bob Field, several people in the Santa Ynez Valley community have formed a group called 'Never!' to oppose any development that might turn the ranch into a tourist destination, reports the Associated Press.
They are seeking reassurances from property co-owner Thomas Barack that he won't develop the site, claiming that such a move would disrupt their tranquil community. They added that it does not have the roads, security or infrastructure to support the crowds that would likely be drawn there as a result.
