Michael Jackson is to make a live return of sorts as part of a secret duet with his brother Jermaine at a forthcoming tribute concert in Vienna, it has been announced.

In a press conference in London today (September 9), Jermaine Jackson suggested that his brother's image and voice would appear for one song as part of the September 26 show.

As previously announced, Mary J Blige, Akon and Chris Brown are among the acts who will play at the show, at the Schönbrunn Palace.

Exact details of the Michael Jackson's appearance were not revealed, but concert organiser Georg Kindel said, "Michael will reappear onstage and sing a song together with Jermaine."

Jackson also spoke briefly about his brother's death recently being classified as a homicide. "I will say, if there was foul play in anything to do with the passing of my brother, it will be dealt with accordingly," he declared.

Later in the conference Jackson spoke to defend Brown, who earlier this year was charged with assault against his ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

"He has asked for forgiveness," he said. "If Christ can forgive us all for what we've done, we find we can look at Chris Brown for what he is – he's a wonderful performer."

He also revealed that Stevie Wonder and R Kelly should be appearing at the event, schedules permitting.

As well as the acts mentioned above, the live band and dance troupe who had rehearsed with Michael Jackson for his London O2 Arena residency, which had been scheduled to begin in July, will perform at the event.
