The director of the Michael Jackson documentary 'This Is It' has said it's "wishful thinking" to hope it could win an Oscar.
The movie has started to pick up buzz from fans believing it may be in with a chance of winning a gong. However, Kenny Ortega, has played things down.
'This Is It' was released too late to be eligible for the Best Documentary category, but it is eligible for the Best Picture award.
"Awards, Oscars, that's all great wishful thinking," Ortega said, reports CBS News.
"What we did here was focus on telling a good story and creating a film for the fans, really enabling them to understand what Michael Jackson had dreamed for them," he added.
'This Is It' premiered globally on October 27.
