Michael Jackson's doctor Conrad Murray is likely to be charged in the next few days with involuntary manslaughter over the singer’s death, it has been claimed.

According to Tmz.com, the website that broke the news of Jackson's death in June, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office has drafted a criminal complaint and is ready to file it against Murray.

Ed Chernoff, Murray's lawyer, told Reuters: "If the cops want him he's not hiding. We'll be happy to surrender him and they know that."

Murray was the only individual being investigated in the homicide case. It was deemed that the singer died after being injected with the drug Propofol.
