Aaron Carter: 'Michael Jackson gave me cocaine when I was 15'

American singer Aaron Carter has said that Michael Jackson gave him drugs and alcohol when he was a teenager.

The 23-year-old, who is the younger brother of Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter and was a close friend of the late star, said he was troubled by the experiences he had with Jackson.

"I never talked about it, this is the first time. I do miss Michael, I have spent such incredible times with him," Carter told OK Magazine Australia. "I did things with him that nobody else did but I was also troubled about what he did to me."

"He gave me wine," he continued. "I mean, I could have refused, but I was 15. As for drugs? He gave me cocaine. I felt weird about that and other stuff."

Jackson, who passed away in June 2009 after suffering a cardiac arrest from propofol intoxication, was often accused of having a controversial private life after he was tried and acquitted of child sexual abuse in 2005.

"We spoke afterwards, hours and hours, on the phone," Carter added. "I admired Michael, but his behaviour bothered me a lot. Then my mother called the police."
