Michael Jackson has been honoured at an event in Los Angeles attended by his children Prince, Paris and Blanket.

The late King Of Pop's famed sequined glove and a pair of his shoes were immortalised in cement outside Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood earlier today (January 26).

Justin Bieber and Quincy Jones, producer of Jackson's classic album 'Thriller', spoke from the stage at the infamous landmark to pay tribute to the singer, who died in June 2009.

According to Hollywoodlife.com, Bieber was introduced by Paris, who said: "My father would have been proud to mentor this person — Justin Bieber — and I am a big fan of his." The teen singer then commented: "Michael meant so much to me. I know he meant a lot to you guys as well. He was more than entertainer. He was an inspiration. He was kind, gentle and very charitable. People are going to remember him for his dancing and singing, but people have to remember him for being the man he was."

Jackson's brother Tito, Marlon and Jackie also turned out, along with his mother Katherine. There were also performances from the cast of TV show Glee and Jackson-based Cirque Du Soleil show 'Immortal'.

Jackson died at the age of 50 from an overdose of the anaesthetic propofol. Last November, his physician Dr Conrad Murray was convicted of his involuntary manslaughter and sentenced to four years in prison.
