Michael Jackson's estate has signed a huge deal with Pepsi, according to reports.

When the singer was still alive he worked with the soft drinks giant on numerous occasions throughout his career. This posthumous deal will, according to TMZ, include a brand new TV advert and special edition cans of Pepsi emblazoned with Michael Jackson's image as well as offering the chance to win remixes of Jackson's songs to download.

A spokesperson for Michael Jackson's estate told TMZ that the deal was made with regards to remarketing Jackson's 1987 album, 'Bad'. They said of the deal: "We're here to market the 'Bad' album and Pepsi is the most effective place to do it."

It was when filming an advert for Pepsi in 1984 that Jackson's hair accidentally caught on fire, causing him scalp burns which for which he was prescribed the 'heroin-like' substance Demerol, which many say led to his addiction to prescription drugs.

Last month, the makers of the technology behind the Tupac hologram at Coachella which appeared during Dr Dre and Snoop Dog's set, told NME that Michael Jackson would be their "ultimate" star to resurrect with the technology.
