Miguel has revealed that Jack White tops his wish-list of musicians he would like to collaborate with.

During an interview with Radio.com, the 'Adorn' singer was asked if there was an artist he would like to work with and, without hesitation, he picked the former White Stripes man.

"His range is like incredible, and it would be extremely unexpected. Because when people say 'best of both worlds', they always think hip-hop and R&B," he said, with a nod towards Jay-Z and R Kelly's collaborative album, 'The Best Of Both Worlds'.

He went on to explain his choice and declared his admiration for White's musicianship. He added: "I just think that Jack White is the consummate artist – an artist's artist. I'm a huge fan. I think it would make for a great juxtaposition musically and creatively."

A collaboration between the two isn't too far-fetched as Miguel is currently on tour in the US with Alicia Keys, who recorded 'Another Way To Die' with Jack White for James Bond movie Quantum of Solace.

Miguel is currently reaping the rewards of his Grammy success last month. The singer picked up an award for Best R&B Song for his smash-hit 'Adorn', which was taken from his 2012 second album 'Kaleidoscope Dream'.

Jack White was recently named as an ambassador for this year's Record Store Day, which will take place on April 20, 2013.
