Miike Snow broke their V Festival duck in Staffordshire this afternoon (August 22) by donning Phantom Of The Opera-style masks for their electro-pop-driven set in the Virgin Media Union tent.
The trio, two of whom previously co-wrote and produced Britney Spears' hit single 'Toxic', treated the crowd to a dance-heavy set featuring a series of tracks from their 2009 self-titled debut including recent single 'Animal'.
The show was only the band's third in the UK so far as American frontman Andrew Wyatt sang the bulk of their songs through a vocoder while he also switched between bass guitar and keyboards throughout their set.
As he launched into 'Animal', the singer shouted: "Where are we? We are in England motherfucker," before the crowd clapped and blew plastic whistles to the track.
Miike Snow played:
'Burial'
'Black & Blue'
'Silvia'
'Animal'
'In Search Of'
'Plastic Jungle'
'In Search Of'
