Miles Kane has announced plans for a UK tour next spring.

The singer, who is currently supporting Kasabian on their jaunt around the country, has lined up eight dates in April 2012, kicking off at Nottingham Rock City.

The tour will wrap up with a date at the London Forum on April 28. Tickets for the shows go on sale at 9am on Friday (December 16). To check availability of Miles Kane tickets and get all the latest listings, go to NME.COM/TICKETS now, or call 0871 230 1094.

He will play:

Nottingham Rock City (April 20)
Glasgow Barrowlands (21)
Dundee Fat Sams (22)
Inverness Iron Works (23)
O2 Academy Leeds (25)
Manchester Academy 1 (26)
Bristol Academy (27)
London HMV Forum (28)

The singer is also planning to release a new single to coincide with the tour.
Meanwhile, Kane recently insisted that he has no plans to join the Arctic Monkeys as a full-time member.

He admitted that he was conscious of the public viewing him as simply Turner's best friend and felt he had a "point to prove" with his own debut album 'Colour Of The Trap'.
