Miles Kane has announced a new one-off headline show for later this summer.

The singer, who kicks off his largest UK tour to date in Nottingham on Friday (April 20), will play Warrington's Parr Hall on August 17. The gig will serve as a warm-up for Kane's appearance at V Festival, which takes place on the following weekend (August 18-19).

After Kane completes his UK tour, he will continue work on the follow-up to his 2011 debut solo album 'The Colour Of The Trap', and he has recently confirmed that he is working with Paul Weller on the new record.

Speaking about the collaboration, which has been rumoured for some time, the former Rascals man told NME: "We'll just see what happens when we get into that room. We're going into Paul's place and I can't wait to get in there and throw some ideas around. It's like mod heaven, his studio."

You can also see a video interview in which Weller discusses his admiration for Miles Kane by scrolling down to the bottom of the page and clicking.

Tickets go onsale on Friday (April 20) at 9am (GMT). To check the availability of Miles Kane tickets and get all the latest listings, go to NME.COM/TICKETS now, or call 0871 230 1094.
