Miles Kane has covered The Rolling Stones' ' Doom And Gloom'.

Scroll down to listen to Kane's version of the song, a new track from Mick Jagger and co., which featured on last year's Greatest Hits collection, 'Grrr!'

The cover was recorded during a session for BBC Radio 1 earlier this week. Kane explained that the track was one of his favourite songs by the classic rock band.

This week Kane released a four-track EP, 'Give Up' digitally. It was also put out as a limited 7". The title song was co-written by Kid Harpoon and produced by Ian Broudie of The Lightning Seeds.

The song comes from Miles Kane's second solo album, which is set for release later in 2013.

Miles Kane last night (February 27) joined forces with Paul Weller at the NME Awards for a version of 'You're Gonna Get It', a track written by the pair for Kane's second album

Kane has previously described 'You're Gonna Get It' as "a great song", adding: "It does exactly what it says on the tin. We did about four songs together and we're gonna record one more… It's a slowie and we're gonna try and do that as a live thing in [London's] Sarm Studios."
