Miles Kane has said he is sure that he will work with Arctic Monkeys' Alex Turner again in the future.

The pair first collaborated as The Last Shadow Puppets in 2008, releasing one album before returning to their own respective careers. However, asked by NME if he can see the project being revived, Kane said he was certain something will happen eventually.

He said: "I think the plan is to release something again, for sure...Since we did that [Alex Turner] has been busy and I had to find my feet with being on my own. If it comes after the end of this cycle and the end of his next record we'll probably be both ready and really up for it. It's just on the sidelines, there's nothing written for it."

Meanwhile, this week's NME cover star will tour the UK in October. Starting off in Portsmouth on September 26, the tour will also visit Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield, Hull and more, with the run of shows coming to an end at London O2 Academy Brixton on October 11. Tickets go on general sale May 31 at 9am (BST).

The dates will support Kane’s forthcoming new album, 'Don't Forget Who You Are', which will be released on June 3. It was produced by The Lightning Seeds frontman Ian Broudie, who has previously worked with The Zutons and Echo And The Bunnymen. The album is currently streaming exclusively at NME.COM.
