Miley Cyrus gave Santa Claus an early Christmas present by twerking against him.

The 'Wrecking Ball' singer was performing at the KISS FM Jingle Ball at the Los Angeles Staples Center on Friday night (December 6) when she performed the controversial dance move against Father Christmas during her hit track 'We Can't Stop'

After the show, where she also sang 'Party In The USA', 'Get It Right' and a cover of Lana Del Rey's 'Summertime Sadness', Cyrus posted a picture of the moment she twerked Santa on Twitter, along with the caption: "You are a VERY BAD Santa". You can view the image here.

Meanwhile, Miley Cyrus has been named Time's Worst Dressed Celebrity Of 2013. The magazine selected the nude PVC two-piece Cyrus wore for her now-infamous performance of 'Blurred Lines' at the MTV VMAs as the biggest fashion mistake of the year.

Despite her ranking top of the Worst Dressed poll, the singer did appear in the magazine's Best Dressed list for the floor-length green sequin gown she wore for Fashion Group International's Night of the Stars. She is also leading the magazine's Person Of The Year poll ahead of NSA leaker Edward Snowden and the Pope, with 24 per cent of all votes cast.
