Miley Cyrus flashed her breasts yesterday (December 14) in support of the Free The Nipple film.

The 'Wrecking Ball' singer posted the image of herself flashing her nipples, which were covered up with drawn on heart-shaped Merry Christmas signs, on her official Twitter page.

She tweeted:

According to Billboard, the stunt was in support of indie film 'Free The Nipple'. The documentary is said to question the censorship on US media in regards to the strict censorship of female nudity compared to the relaxed approach to violence. Cyrus added: "It's not about getting your titties out. It's about equality."

Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that Miley Cyrus has been named in the Top 10 of Time magazine's Person of the Year poll.

Other figures to appear on the shortlist include Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, Texas Senator Ted Cruz, Pope Francis, Iranian president Hassan Rouhani, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, NSA leaker Edward Snowden, gay rights activist Edith Windsor and 2012 winner, President Barack Obama.
