Miley Cyrus's Los Angeles home was burgled whilst she was on the European leg of her Bangerz tour.

A Maserati Quattroporte sports car, jewellery and other pieces of property were taken from the singer's north Hollywood residence, reports Billboard. The Los Angeles Police Department statement, say that no-one was at home when the crime was committed and that there are two suspects, a man and a woman.

Cyrus is still on the road in Europe, with her next gig set for Copenhagen on June 4. She returns to the UK to play the Capital FM Summertime Ball on June 21 at London's Wembley Stadium. Cyrus then takes the tour back to North America for the rest of the summer.

During the UK and Ireland leg of the tour last month Cyrus sang a version of The Smiths' 'There Is A Light That Never Goes Out' at the Odyssey Arena last night (May 19) in Belfast. She was also joined by Wayne Coyne and Steven Drozd of The Flaming Lips for a performance of 'Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds' by The Beatles in Manchester, a recording of which was used in the Billboard Music Awards.
