A raft of some of the most celebrated independent record labels including XL, Rough Trade, Bella Union and Domino will come together again this weekend at the Independent Label Market in Spitalifields.

The event on Saturday (May 19) will see label bosses manning stalls and selling their releases directly to music fans – with some special releases and rarities for sale too.

Several artists will be manning their own label's stalls – including Hot Chip for their imprint Lanark, Tim Burgess at O.Genesis, Erol Alkan at Phantasy and Edwyn Collins at Analogue Enanced Digital.

The first Independent Label Market market took place on Berwick Street, London in May 2011, with a Christmas event following in December as a benefit event for labels who lost their stock in the PIAS/Sony warehouse fire earlier this year in August last year.

For a list of all the special releases visit independentlabelmarket.tumblr.com.
