'Fifty Shades Of Grey' album to be released

The soundtrack to bestselling novels Fifty Shades Of Grey will be released next month.

The 15-track classical LP features music selected by elusive British author EL James and referenced in her Fifty Shades book trilogy, Music Week reports. The books have sold 5.3m copies in the UK alone.

'Fifty Shades of Grey – The Classical Album' will be available in the UK from September 17. James said of the album: "I am thrilled that the classical pieces that inspired me while I wrote the Fifty Shades trilogy are being brought together in one collection for all lovers of the books to enjoy."

The screen rights to the erotic novel have been acquired by Universal Pictures and Focus Features. The film adaptation is being produced by Mike De Luca and Dana Brunetti, who previously worked together on The Social Network.
