Former Death Row Records boss Suge Knight is wanted by US authorities after failing to appear at a court date on Thursday (February 20).
Knight, who was sentenced to 36 months probation for driving on a suspended license in August 2011, was due in court on Thursday to answer two cases which also involved driving on a suspended licence, but he failed to appear.
According to TMZ, the rap mogul now has two bench warrants out against him - one for $5,000 and another for $30,000 – which means police can arrest Knight on sight.
This comes just over a year after he was arrested by in Las Vegas for possession of marijuana. Police in Las Vegas had spotted him changing lanes and making a turn without signalling properly and, during a search, was found with less than an ounce in marijuana.
Knight has twice been pulled up on charges of driving on a suspended license before, and was also arrested for assault with a deadly weapon in May 2010, when the rap mogul was picked up by police after allegedly pointing a gun at someone then leaving the scene by car.
