MISSY ELLIOTT has recorded a song with the surviving members of Ludacris in tribute to the late LISA 'LEFT EYE' LOPES.

The rapper recorded 'Can You Hear Me' with Tionne 'T-Boz' Watkins and Rozonda 'Chilli' Thomas for Elliott's forthcoming album 'Under Construction'. The follow-up to 'Miss E...So Addictive', it is set for release in November.

"It's a very personal record. It was hard, very hard. I cried when I wrote it and cried when I sung it," she told MTV.

Other stars on the album include Tweet, who sings on three songs, Jay-Z, [/a], Beyoncé Knowles and Method Man.

Speaking about her collaborations, she said: "[a] is hot, and he's just true Southern hospitality. There's just something about him that when you see him, ... you think about chicken, macaroni and cheese, and all that. Beyoncé is a true, true, true talent, and the last time I worked with someone with that talent and that works fast like that is [a][/a]. Her voice has always been amazing, and she's a good person."

The album's tracklisting runs: 'Go to the Floor'
'Bring the Pain'
'Gossip Folks'
'Work It'
'Back in the Day'
'Funky Fresh Dressed'
'P***ycat'
