Moby discusses next album

It will be a mix of genres

Moby
Moby has been discussing the eclectic follow up 2005’s ’Hotel’.

The singer, who has recently released a best of collection ’Go’, said the as-yet-untitled album would be released in September 2007.

He said that he was enjoying the benefits of creating tracks in his home studio. “The thing about having a home studio,” he said “Is that you can go into your studio and create the music you want to create. So I can go in and make punk rock songs or dance songs or minimal experimental pieces. The hard part is trying to figure out what songs are good enough to be on the record."

He told Chart Attack: “I think my criteria now is less stylistic and more qualitative you know, which songs will make the best record, not really what genre they’ll be in.”
