Summer dates on the way as DJ goes rock

Moby to tour with unnamed band

Moby has formed a new rock band with no name, and is planning to hit the road with them in June.

The DJ originally called the group 'The Little Death, but he soon discovered several other bands had bagged the name first. He has subsequently opted for the enigmatic route by not naming the group at all, reports Billboard.

He said: "We realised there are about five other Little Deaths out there and, as we live in a litigious culture, we opted to avoid lawsuits and, thus, refrained from naming ourselves 'The Little Death'."

The band played a charity gig in New York earlier this week, and details of forthcoming gigs are to be announced. In the meantime, Moby is working on his new album, which is due for release next year.
