A New York club night is also on the way

Moby has revealed that his new album will be called ‘Last Night’.

In a posting on his website, the star claims to have returned to a more electronic direction.

“It’s much more electronic and dance-oriented than my last three records,” he wrote, adding that the record includes “some techno songs that sound like buildings falling down”.

Moby is also set to launch a new club night this week (October 11) at New York’s Hiro Ballroom, called ‘Degenerates’.

The inaugural night will feature DJs Stretch Armstrong, The Juan MacLean, Alex Frankel and Moby himself.

‘Last Night’ is due to be released in spring 2008.
