Moby collaborates with Nigerian hip-hop group

There will be a new single and album out in March

Moby collaborates with Nigerian hip-hop group

Moby's new single will feature guests from a Nigerian hip-hop band.

Smokey and S.O. Simple from 419 Squad And Aynzil appear on 'Alice'.

The track is out on March 17, two weeks before Moby's new album 'Last Night Out' is released.

Moby said of the song: “The song 'Alice' started with a mistake. There's this effect that I have, a very old proto-distortion pedal, and I was playing a bassline through it and there was something broken on the distortion pedal and it made this weird but fantastic feedback.

"After writing the track I then sent it out to Aynzli and the 419 Squad, who contributed their amazing vocals.”

The new album, which was recorded in New York in the star's home studio, was produced by Dan Grech-Maguerat, who is known for his work with Radiohead and Scissor Sisters.
