Moby has remixed David Lynch's 'Noah's Ark' for a one off 12" to be released for Record Store Day.

The Twin Peaks creator made his first foray into music last year when he recorded and released his debut album 'Crazy Clown Time' and has now teamed up with the '18' singer for a new release.

The limited edition heavyweight vinyl single features the 'Noah's Ark' remix on the A-side and a Vaughan Oliver etch on the B-side. The record will be made available on April 21, which is Record Store Day.

On getting Moby to remix the track, David Lynch said:
I thought how great it is that he wanted to remix one of our songs and I loved his remix

He went on to praise the spirit of Record Store Day, adding: "It’s so great that stores like Amoeba still exist. People should support these stores as a place where you can still find and enjoy all the different kinds of music."

This isn't the first time Moby has been linked with the Blue Velvet director, after he sampled 'Laura Palmer's Theme' from Lynch's Twin Peaks television series for his track 'Go'. Speaking about the collaboration, Moby said: "David Lynch is my friend and I love his movies and his art and his music. Few things make me happier than working with him.”

Moby's remix of David Lynch's 'Noah's Ark' will be released on 12' vinyl on April 21. For the full list of Record Store Day releases click here
