‘We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank’ tops chart
Modest Mouse’s new album ‘We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank’ has entered the US Billboard charts at Number One.
The record sold 128,565 copies in its first week of release.
The album, which features ex-Smiths star Johnny Marr on guitar, has spent the week at the Number One spot on iTunes, as well as the top spot on both Billboard’s Top Digital and Top Internet Albums charts.
As previously reported, the band will embark on a North American tour to support the release, kicking off April 15 in Seattle, with support coming from Love As Laughter.
