They'll hit the road again this autumn

Modest Mouse have announced the dates of an autumn North American tour in support of their album, 'We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank', released earlier this year.

The band, whose lineup includes The Smiths[/a] legendary guitarist [b]Johnny Marr, will kick things off in Spokane, Washington on October 31.

They'll play dates in Detroit, Chicago, San Diego, as well as several Canadian cities before wrapping things up in New Orleans on December 15.

This tour follows several sold-out shows in Europe earlier this year.

The tour dates are:
